There is a small joy in spotting your own case coming round the carousel in a colour that is not black, black or black. This one turns up in soft lilac and glides over instead of trundling. Slim built too, slim enough to actually slot into the overhead or tuck under the seat while everyone else wrestles theirs, and light enough to swing up there one-handed. Inside, it splits into two proper halves, so clean and worn stay apart, with adjustable straps that hold everything down and a separate bag for the laundry that always ruins a suitcase.
