Most raincoats hang off you like a bin bag. This one has a waist. A self-fabric belt pulls it in, then the skirt flares out below into a full, swinging A-line, the shape the Curve is named for. The finish is Rains' soft matte rubber, a quiet sheen rather than a hard shine, so it reads as a coat you chose rather than one the weather forced on you. Underneath the look, it holds up. Waterproof with a hidden zip behind a press-stud placket, a drawcord hood and press-stud cuffs to seal out a squall, and two deep flap pockets on the skirt. Black, and in three more colours besides. Rainproof cuts allow you to still look good.
