When full sleeves feel like overkill, but the breeze is biting, the Atom Vest nails the sweet spot. Weighing 185 grams, it uses breathable Coreloft Compact 60 insulation to trap core heat without making you sweat through high-output trail walks or hill climbs.
Unlike traditional down that turns flat and useless in drizzle, this synthetic fill holds its warmth even when wet. It features stretchy fleece side panels to dump excess heat, an updated lower collar for easy layering under a waterproof coat, and packs down neatly into its own chest pocket when the sun comes out.
